Budget Balance
Budget balances published by Turkish Treasury measuring the disparities between income and spending spend at the end of the budget period. A positive balance indicates a budget surplus, whereas a negative balance indicates a budget deficit, thus indicating a need for borrowing. In general, the surplus is seen as a positive (or bullish) signal for the Lira and the deficit is seen as negative (or a downtrend).
